Tan-go Nights is a dance spectacle set in a café and a nightclub.

A turbulent and playful love story told through dance. Ordinary people in ordinary situations go through the emotional journey of finding that special someone. At Tan-go Nights, everyone is capable of finding love.

A Dream Fulfilled: A Message from Melanie Day

Dear audience, welcome! Tonight, I am fulfilling a childhood dream, and I am particularly thrilled to do so in Bamberg, a city that holds a special place in my heart.

Having spent nearly 20 years abroad, mainly in London, my husband and I returned to Bamberg in 2014. This city is deeply woven into my memories, as I spent many school holidays here with my grandparents.

In their honor, I dedicate this performance to them – two people who always believed in me and now watch over my family and me.

My journey began at the age of 14 when I started my first dance group for a local carnival club. We worked tirelessly for five years, creating new programs and performances. Even back then, I knew that dance was my calling. After years of preparation, I am beyond excited to welcome you to this evening’s performance.

A heartfelt thank you to my husband Paul, my sister Natascha König from Dancepoint, Dany Rüger and Werner Silzer from Body&Soul, my mother Anita König, and everyone involved in Tan-Go Nights. Without you, this would not have been possible.

I hope you enjoy the journey I’m about to take you on. Let yourself be enchanted – all you need are three senses: sight, sound, and feeling. Enjoy the show!
