IDCF: A Dance Experience like no other

The International Dance Camp Festival (IDCF) is more than just a dance camp – it is a movement. As one of the largest festivals of its kind, the IDCF brings together two of the most significant dance worlds under one roof: urban dance and classical styles. With nearly 30 different dance genres – from hip-hop, popping and locking to jazz, modern and ballet – dancers of all levels can attend high-quality classes taught by the very best dance instructors.
The European dance scene has no other camp offering this level of diversity. The IDCF is organised every year by Andy Lemond and his passionate team, who are constantly bringing new ideas to the table. Andy attaches great importance to working with instructors who are not only exceptional dancers but, above all, experienced educators.
What makes the IDCF special is that it’s open to everyone. From beginners to professionals, there are training sessions at different levels – everyone can develop their skills. The festival also serves as a platform for dance schools from Baden-Württemberg, which can showcase their work through on-site performances. In addition, there’s a varied supporting programme: battles, Kitanzt, flash mobs and original productions.
The IDCF’s vision: to make dance, in all its facets, accessible to everyone. Whether young or old, amateur or professional – here you’ll find inspiration, opportunities for exchange and the chance to work with international choreographers and discover new styles.
