Berlin-based dancer and performer Thomas Rohe began competing in jazz-modern dance at a young age. He completed his training as a contemporary stage dancer at DANCEWORKS Berlin in 2016. Thomas worked as a freelance dancer even while he was still in training – among other things, he was the German participant in Eurovision Young Dancers 2015. After completing his training, he danced in many productions in Bavaria. These include the SETanzTheater, Mystika, MDance Company, the Gluck Festival in Nuremberg and the Tanzspeicher in Würzburg. As a performer, he worked for Marina Abramovic during the exhibition ‘The Cleaner’ in Copenhagen and Bonn. In Berlin, he was a dancer with the Siciliano Contemporary Ballet and is currently a member of the KDV Dance Ensemble under Kiani del Valle, performing with the company in the piece ‘Las Casas Invisibles’ at the famous Funkhaus Berlin. He supplemented his knowledge by training as a yoga teacher and studying sports science. He can currently be seen in various productions at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden Berlin.
