Sonbol Eghtessadi discovered her passion for hip-hop at the age of 16 on the streets of Berlin. Shortly afterwards, she began teaching groups of children and young people and toured Germany as a backing dancer for KiKA. Her early successes include the Berlin championship title and the East German street dance championship title.
Following her training as a professional stage dancer and dance teacher at M.A.D. (Mind and Dance), specialising in hip-hop, she established herself as a dancer, choreographer and lecturer. She has worked for well-known brands such as Adidas and Pimkie, both as a dancer and as a choreographer. In addition, she is regularly invited to sit on the judging panel at national dance competitions, where she draws on her many years of experience to assess and nurture young talent.
She remains a member of the MDance Company to this day and has appeared on stage in productions including Tanz Unlocked (2020), Gotta Dance (2021) and Die 4 Elemente (2023). Since 2022, she has also been a dancer and choreographer with King Karla, Partyboote XXL on Lake Constance.
Also since 2022, she has been the founder and owner of the Steps & Styles dance school, where she passes on her many years of experience to dancers of all ages.
In collaboration with Beauville Arts, she has worked as a choreographer on national and international musical productions such as *Mamma Mia!*, *The Greatest Showman*, *We Will Rock You* and *Aladdin*.
